Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present for sale this great driving Porsche 356 S. This example has been repainted in the original color of Heron Gray with a Black interior.

The engine in this example is one of the smoothest, strongest 356 S powerplants we have driven in quite some time. The brakes, clutch, shifter, suspension and steering all work as they should and we might add, better than one would expect. The car was misrepresented to us by its seller and has a California salvage title. This does not affect the ability to transfer the title or registration. It does however, keep you out of the running for Pebble Beach!

We have thoroughly inspected the car as you can see by the pictures on the lift, and did not find any signs of flood, fire or frame damage. We think perhaps something minor happened to the car sometime during the seventies or early eighties when the car’s value was around $2500 and the insurance company might have decided the repair work would be too expensive and claimed it totaled.

This Porsche was used by its previous owner for many club events and vintage rallies. It’s a fantastic example of a very inexpensive 356 S that can be enjoyed thoroughly – even as an everyday car.

What an opportunity to get into a great example 356 for well below market value.
